November 2026 Update
The Digital Blue Envelope is coming to life!
Over the past few weeks, the Digital Blue Envelope moved from early production into a working product. The envelope itself is now built and tested, and a full Blue Envelope website is nearly ready to launch.
Your Envelope, Built and Ready
Setting up a Blue Envelope now takes just a few steps. Create a PIN, save your recovery words, fill in your information, and add photos of important documents. From there, you can build the card that shares your communication needs.
Please note: Images shown reflect the current development build of the Digital Blue Envelope. Final design and features may differ at launch.
A Full Website Is on the Way
This page is about to become a complete website, with guides to both the physical and digital Blue Envelope, a printable envelope, answers to common questions, and a newsroom for announcements and updates. You will also be able to sign up for our newsletter to follow every step.
Secure, Private, and Works Anywhere
Everything you enter is encrypted and stored only on your own phone. Your Blue Envelope works without a signal, and it was tested on real iPhone and Android devices. An independent security review found no significant issues.
Help Us Reach the Finish Line!
$20,150 raised of our $55,000 goal
The next stage focuses on the card itself and how it is shared with officers. Your support funds that work, along with print materials for families and departments and the community hub. Every contribution brings the Digital Blue Envelope one step closer to the people who need it.
